Enhancing On-Site Property Security – Your Responsibility

Because of a recent incident with property theft on-site, we would like to remind all owners who have property stored on the premises to take necessary precautions to protect their valuable assets.

The HOA has installed more signs around the backside of the property to bring awareness to the cameras and attempt to deter theft.

Lock It Up – Protect What’s Yours!

With the aim of enhancing security, we kindly request that you use locks on all lock-accepting locations on your trailers. This includes, but is not limited to, using locks on side doors, ramp doors, and other access points. The more locks you utilize, the better your protection.

Double Up for Added Security

For an extra layer of security, we strongly recommend using a combination of a ball-lock and a pin lock. This dual-locking system can significantly reduce the risk of unauthorized access and deter potential thieves.

Consider Additional Measures

Some owners have taken further steps to secure their property by installing boots or chains on their trailer rims. While this is not a requirement, it is an additional option to consider for added peace of mind.

Remember that your property’s security is a shared responsibility, and by taking these precautionary measures, you contribute to a safer community for all. We understand that theft can be a distressing experience, and we want to do everything we can to prevent it.

If you have any questions about the types of locks to use or need assistance with securing your property, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our HOA office. We’re here to help and can provide guidance on the best security practices.

Let’s work together to ensure the safety and security of our community. By taking these simple steps, we can make a significant impact on reducing the risk of property theft.

Thank you for your cooperation, and let’s continue to make Queens Bay HOA a great place to live.
