September 29th we reported a theft of a pontoon boat trailer.
We have some heartening news to share regarding the recent trailer incident that had left us all concerned. As the HOA Manager, I’m pleased to inform you that the mystery has been unraveled, and the situation has been resolved to everyone’s satisfaction.
A Mix-Up Uncovered
Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the missing trailer was not the result of theft but rather a mix-up involving an independent valet service. This valet was responsible for multiple tasks, including retrieving a trailer for another condo owner, removing a boat from its slip, and placing it into storage.
The Trailer Returns Home
After some diligent detective work and collaboration between our community members, it was confirmed that the trailer had been mistakenly taken by the valet service, leading to the confusion. I’m happy to report that the trailer has been successfully returned to its rightful place on our property.
Closing the Chapter
In light of these developments, we have updated both local law enforcement and the relevant insurance companies about the situation. The case has been officially closed, and there will be no further pursuit of this matter.
We appreciate the cooperation and patience demonstrated by our community members throughout this process. It’s a testament to the strength of our Queens Bay HOA family, as we worked together to resolve this situation amicably.
